I would like to find my old teacher from Islington London. She moved back to Penzance to marry round about 1952 or 53.

Hi, I am a visitor to your site from Cuxhaven, the partner town of Penzance. Is the pirat on your site the maskot of Penzance? Does he have a name and is there a background story. Thank you in advance if anybody can answer that question.

My Mother, Evelyn May Allen, was born on the farm, Gander downs, Penzance in May of 1896. I would like to know if the farm is still in existance.
It is my intent to visit Penzance in the near future and see the farm or at least the area where it once existed.

Hello
We are doing a project about where we live, "Treneere Estate". We are collecting stories old and new, good and bad!
We hope you may have some memories you can share with us, maybe about Treneere Manor, the war, or the fair on the Recreation Ground, or school days, or where you used to hang out?
Anything would be good.
Many thanks

Arrived in St Ives in time for the Mayday celebrations and it was wonderful! Would love to know the name of the percussion band that thoroughly entertained the crowd that day.

Penzance Ladies Football Club are offering businesses the chance to help support the club through sponsorships.
Currently, our players have to pay to play, as well as incurring costs of travelling and often long-distance away games that mean taking time off work.
The club is also growing fast, now with 2 women's teams and a whole new girls section. Visit our new website at www.penzanceladiesfc.co.uk or e-mail me for more information.

Can you help with my enquiry please. I am trying to contact a man named Bill Pearce who resides in St Ives or nearby. Bill was our Manager when I played in the Cornwall Combination League around 1970/2 and I understand he still has connections with football in your region. I am due to visit cornwall with my family in early May and would like to set up a reunion.
Best wishes
