I would like to welcome you to Penzance. For the visitor and resident alike, I’m sure you will find much of interest within the town.

Our new leisure centre has now opened its doors and has proved extremely popular across all age ranges. Penzance has a variety of recreational societies and I consider myself lucky enough to have been able to visit a high proportion of them, enjoying the concerts, plays and shows performed. If you are able to attend any local shows please take the opportunity, you will not regret it.

Penzance is fortunate to have a long history associated with artisans and this can be seen when visiting the large range of galleries, both public and private within the town. Our town trails for Penzance & Newlyn, soon to be joined by Mousehole, are a great way to see and learn some of the history and stories of the area coupled with a pleasant walk around the parish.

Penzance has a very diverse nature, whether it be architecture, shopping, leisure or public parks. I look forward to the expansion of the facilities currently provided and hope you will enjoy what Penzance has to offer whether you are visiting or residing in this beautiful part of the world.
