Inns & Public HousesThere are approximately 30 pubs in the town and many are in close proximity to each other. A number of them are housed in very old and historic buildings, particularly in the Chapel Street area of the town. Most provide wholesome, good value pub-food in warm and cosy surroundings. Some of the pubs have regular jazz and other live music and quiz evenings are popular. |
