I love Penzance! Visited the town 1989 and I met so many nice, loving and friendly people. I stayed at The Riviera Hotel (now The Riviera Inn) and if Fred and Susan Salter are reading this - I miss you lots and hope your feeling great! All my love to Penzance, all my friends from 1989-1991 and all the lucky people who get to live there.

Penzance feels like home. My father came from there and I have family who live there. I am planning my 4th visit this summer and can't wait to be there again. It is the most lovely place in the world. Say hi to Tony & Fiona Gilbert for me.

This site is very easy to clear and simple to use. it is very user friendly and led me straight to the information I was interested in immediately, unlike many other "Penzance sites".

Just re-visiting the site again and reminding any other visitors who attended HEAMOOR CS School in the early to mid 60s that this is a good sight to establish contacts (as I did recently with Billy Mitchell in New Zealand). If you know of Mac Strick, Martin Blowers, David Williams, "Pooch" Woolcock, Mike Summerlee etc. please ask them to get in touch.
The web site is a credit to Penzance but I must agree with a previous visitor's comments about the lack of a Union flag. Please don't dilute our heritage!!

I'm happy to find great website of Penzance. I traveled to Cornwall in May 1991 with my family including newly born baby Hideo.
Evenso it was still cold weather, we enjoyed beautiful seneries of St.Michael over the bay. Walking up the main street, we enjoyed Chinese dishes.
The hospitality of B&B near BR station was quite nice.

My wife and I are planning a visit in March. But I am a little tired of seeing EU flags on every piece of literature from Cornwall . . . but no Union Flag. It makes me feel you are renouncing your country for EU funds (which are really nothing more than recycled British taxes), but please try to make the rest of us feel a little more at home. Thank you.
