I lived in Penzance for 20 years and only left
there a few months ago. Amazing how much you miss the place once
you have left! This site has been my lifeline 'home' so thank you
very much. I hope there will be pictures of the Mousehole lights
once they are turned on, I would hate to have to miss them??

I was in Lynwood-Guesthouse in September 2001.
This establishment is wonderful and Cornwall is a really very beutiful
region. Everywhere in the towns you can walk without to be afraid
for you or for your car. Cornwall is very away of my home (I live
near of Strasbourg, capital of EEC) but I will return in Penzance
for my next holidays.

I am very upset & even outraged that the Cornwall
Geological Museum in Penzance is being forced to shut down for lack
of funding which ammounts to a paltry £10,000 per year. This is
a disgrace! What is the local council thinking? Surely an asset
such as this, a proud part of the local heritage should be kept
open, or am I alone in this?
For goodness sakes why isn't Objective One funding, or national
heritage money being used?
Please do not allow this to happen, surely a list of subscribers
could be put together to keep the museum solvent and a plan to make
it self-supporting drawn up.

Greetings! Originally my travel plans included
only a visit to London but those have changed since the WTC tragedy.
I will be spending 7 nights at the Carnson House and I'm getting
so excited to visit Penzance! I plan to do tons of hiking and am
wondering if there are any maps to be purchased locally (in Penzance)
that will give me some ideas for which paths/towns I should visit.
I'm also looking forward to one of Harry's Safari - I went on safaris
in Africa and I hear Harry's will be just about that good! Love
this site - looking forward to meeting some of you while I visit!
Also, I'm an avid knitter and am looking forward to visiting your
knitting shops too! Have a great day!

Dear People...not sure of the right termonology...but
we're coming on down for a visit from London the first week in November,
from the States & if any one needs a CPR class, please let me know,
would be happy to pass on a class, will provide books & just need
a few mannekins. These are the American Heart Assoc. standards &
would be interesting to compare the difference. Do let me know &
we look forward to a visit. Thanks. Kathy Heaney
