My husband had a stroke this summer and we really need to return
to my family so that I can get some help and support as we also

Well we have both. Do have deposit/months rent in advance and reference

Does anybody know where I rent a flat/house
for myself and my two dogs. Looking for a fresh start in the Penzance
area. Would consider house share. Dogs house trained and well behaved.
Myself, I am very clean/tidy and house proud. An ideal tenant. Looking
for new friends and a new life in Cornwall as soon as possible.

Great site and thanks for the maps of the town
centre, restaurants and the churches. This will help us get around
and do the things we want during our holiday much easier.

Like my sister Betty Shaw together with our
brother Michael Ryan we were evacuated to Penzance in 1940. I used
to have a friend called Betty Lawson and I haven't seen her for
about 50 years. Penzance is still my spiritual home and I do follow
the exploits of the Pirates.

I visited Penzance in 1977 and stayed in a lovely
Bed and Breakfast hotel which was housed in the old Western Union
building. It was a big solid granite building. From what I understand,
that building was built in 1911 and at the time I was there, it
had recently been converted to the B&B. I have forgotten the name
of the place, and the address, and for all I know it may be defunct
as a hotel now, but I am just curious as to whether or not they
are still in business. The owners were so gracious and hospitible
and made our visit a most beautiful and memorable experience. I
would love to return! Thanks for any information out there....

Hello
I am organising a conference for the Australian Sister Cites Assocation
and wanted to locate someone in Penzance who is responsible for
your Sister City relationships.
You may or may not be aware that Penzance has a Sister City in Australia
- it's Bendigo in Victoria and that is where this year's conference
is been held. The dates of the Conference are 18 - 22 October and
we would be delighted to see someone from Penzance in attendance.
Please e-mail me any information that may assist.
Many thanks.
Best regards.
