hi,
Beautiful place i was born in Penzance and it's wonderful to see it on the web as i don't get many opportunities to visit my birth place. I feel sort of homesick although i've lived in Spain most of my life. Can't wait to visit Penzance this Xmas!! it's been so long since i was there last.

I am looking for Frances Newman (as was!) I was at school with her at Raans County Secondary in Amersham, Bucks in 1960. Frances has two children, one living in Japan and one in the fashion industry - and lives in Penzance , somewhere. I have no idea what her name is now. She would be in her fifties, like me, has an MA from the Slade College of Art. Frances registered her details on Friends Re-United, as did I, but her email address there was either incorrect or incomplete and all emails have been returned "failed to deliver"! I would dearly love to find her and get in touch again - can anyone help? I fyou think you know Frances, please, please give her my email address and ask her to write me soon please! Thank you.

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable two week period in Cornwall in July this year visiting distant relatives and exploring a number of the beautiful villages and countryside in Cornwall. We visited Penzance a number of times, and I want to make contact with the souvenir shop which is on the corner of wharfe road?, more or less diagonally opposite your Tourist Office.Your web site is excellent, but I could not track it down from your shopping map.
Could you please email me the name address and, if possible the telephone number of the shop.

Regards,

Derek Trewarne

We recently spent 6 days in Cornwall and stayed at the Carnson House Guest House. We were every happy indeed with the friendliness and hospitality of Barry and Kaye who went out of their way to be helpful when we emailed them for reservations from the USA prior to our visit. It was comforting to know that when we got off the train it was only a few steps away to the Carnson House and our reserved accommodation. They even arranged a rental car for us which was delivered and picked up by a local garage - and the cost was 50% less than a Europcar! We traveled many miles around beautiful Cornwall and the weather was perfect. We hope to be back sometime.
