Hi my name is Lee Trevaskis, and I was born
in Mousehole,Cornwall. I'm 19 years old. I have been out in Australia
for 13 years. But unfortunately left my home behind after immigrating
over here when I was only 6 years of age. My brother Peter is visiting
friends and family in Penzance. He worked as a bike salesman and
is now looking for a job. So if anybody can offer him a position
(anything), he is looking for a job so that he can stay in Penzance
untill Christmas. If so please contact him at (21 High St Penzance
TR18 2sx) He's a great Man and works really hard. Hello to anybody
who knew my family. We love being Cornish. Long live the CELTS!

and are hoping for a bit of sun while we are there - can anyone
recommend any restaurants/pubs with outside dining areas? Thanks

HELP!!
I forgot the most important thing.
I'm searching in vain for a guy called ALISTAIR!!! During the terms
I spent in Penzance (Summer 98 and 00) he taught for EUROPARTNER
at the Penwith College. He's a Scottish guy who lives in Portugal
and as far as I can remember always drove a Honda Motorbike. He's
very slim and has got a bald head. Please if anybody knows ANYTHING
about him, TELL ME!!!!!! Or if you read this, Alistair please EMAIL
me!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you all a lot!!!!!

Hello Penzance,
Soon I will return, that's for sure.
I was one of those European kids who stayed in Penzance during a
language course in 1998 and 2000 and next month I'm going to return.
Well now I'm grown up and will lead an own language-course group
and I want to try something like a hairstyler-school or something
like this. Where I can get a fresh new hair cut for little money.
Please email me about such opportunities in Penzance, maybe at Penwith
College??? :-)
Thank you a lot and many greets from sunny Germany!!

Your site brought back memories of winter 2
years ago when I visited with tow adult children to try and fine
TREZISE near Penzance. It was a cold blustery day and we had great
fun in the town trying out the local food and buying Cornish mead
to bring back to New Zealand . My great great grandparents were
born in Cornwall. Joseph Trezise married Wilmot Hoskins and they
emmigrated from Penzance to Ashburton in Canterbury NZ. We did find
a farm called TREZISE near Penzance but it probably wanst our "ancient
family seat"! There are Trezises in Australia and the US and a few
in NZ.
I loved your site and wil continue to visit to keep up with my cornish
heritage.

Hi,
Not so much of an enquiry, more a thank-you for providing such a
useful web site for our forthcoming visit to Penzance, it's made
our planning so much easier - it seems a really nice town, so we
will look forward to visiting.
Sadly, we will not have much time, I guess we are not your usual
visitors, as we are cycling Lands End-John O'Groats - 5 riders and
a minibus driver hoping to raise as much money as possible for premature
and sick babies in intensive care (please feel free to look at our
own web site www.phoebes-wish.org.uk
We will be overnighting in Penzance on Sunday 8th June, so if anyone
sees five rather tired looking middle aged men and a sprightly female
driver dragging their weary bodies into one of your nice pubs, start
to worry for us we will have only covered 8 miles, with about 950
more to go! (all in a good cause mind!!)
Keep up the good work!! - wish every town on our trip had a site
like yours

My Great Great Grandfather was born in Pensance
March 1852 and immigrated to the States to do minning in Colorado.
I was wondering if you have any libraries archives that can do research
on geneology. I would be very interested in obtaining information
about Matthew Henry Nicholas. Thanks,

We travelled all the way to Penzance with one
thought in mind -- to find a policeman, and discover whether the
buttons on his uniform depict the head of John the Baptist. We hoped
if it were true, to be able to obtain a few buttons to bring home
with us. We were surprised to discover that the police station was
closed and locked at 2 in the afternoon, and we never did find out
about the buttons on the police officers' uniforms! But we had a
lovely luncheon and saw some of the other sights, marvelled at the
citizens' back gardens, purchased a few items in the bookstore,
and left, probably never to return. We'd like to know, though, about
the truth of the story regarding John the Baptist's head on the
uniform buttons. Cate and Patric Shea
