Hi,
I'm from Germany and I lived in Penzance from September 2000 - May 2001. I worked as a language assistant at the Humphry Davy school and at the college. Unfortunately, I've lost contact to everybody I got to know there. May be somebody remembers me and would be so kind and write me some words about how everything goes over there in Penzance. I'm thinking about visiting Penzance this summer just for sentimental reasons.
I really liked Penzance and I'm looking forward to come back.

Hi
I am hoping someone in your area can assist me with my family tree by helping me contact distant relatives. The relatives/decendants that I am searching are:
JOAN WESLEY
BETTY WESLEY
daughters of PERMEWAN WESLEY - BORN 1884. Permewan had a sister OLIVE (ran a typist school in Penzance) and brother JOHN who migrated to Australia. ALSO any relatives of ANNIE CHENHALLS. Annie married twice, first to JOHN WESLEY (1882) and then after his death to William Thomas INCH.
I would love to here from someone with information/photos etc on any of these relatives.
Thankyou.

In 1987 my husband and I visited the isles of Scilly;and we liked it so much that we returned again 2 years later!
Now, although I had a severe stroke (paralised on the right side) and had an operation for cancer last July, we are very much looking foreward to returning to Penzance and the Isles again!
I have learnt to walk again, so we are quite excited about our next visit, in a few weeks' time!
This year I hope to reach my 70th birthday, (my husband is 77!) so if you see 2 happy youngsters walking about in Penzance before long, it will be us!!
We booked in "Lynwood" because we saw the lovely rooms on the internet!
