WE LOVE CORNWALL we go 2-3 times a year to camp at wheal rodney its run by Sian and Steve who are very welcoming and my hubby loves The Firengine pub ( if you go dont have too many pints of H.S.D or you may lose a few days of your holiday !! ). The Godolphin is also great and children are allowed in until about 8pm they do great meals and bar snacks. There is an excellent little gallery just at the side of the godolphin , go they have some beutiful gifts. We cant sighn off without mentioning Lavanders in Penzance the pasties are the best and do atke aways for home YUM. All thats left to say is GO TO CORNWALL ITS GREAT

As a young boy I lived in Penzance with my family in Morrab Road. I remember well going to the pool everyday and swimming at Battery Rocks. I was often on the receiving end of a telling off from Big John Stirling who was in charge of the pool at that time! I have been back to Penzance many times and it is my intention as a born and bred Scotsman to retire in Gods Country. I will be back!

In a family bible of 1871 I have found a white napkin with a picture of a rigged ship printed in blue with RMV Scillonian Scilly printed on it.
Can you tell me anything about the ship at a guess pre first world war?

I visited Penzance and the surroundings a couple of times for holiday. I'm 19 years old and finished school with my matriculation. Before I'm going to study, I wanted to work around 3 months in Cornwall, especially in Penzance. Can anyone help me to find a low paid job or very cheap accommodation?
Kind regards from Berlin
