Penzance has a day maintained special school, Nancealverne,
which takes pupils from 5 to 16+. It includes the Penwith Assessment
Unit which works with children of 2 years and upwards. In addition to
the specialist staff there are 21 support experts. Pupils exchange and
make links with the John Daniel Centre and Penwith College.
