Cricket, hockey, rugby & soccer are all supported by active clubs in the area. in all these sports, the clubs participate in competitive leagues in Cornwall and the wider South-West.

In particular, the Cornish Pirates represent the tow in the National Chamoionship and have, in recent years, become very successful and are presently challenging for the Premiership.
