Lynwood is within easy reach of town centre, swimming pool, rail and bus terminals, public car parks and entertainments. Taxis are available for transport from the rail and bus stations. The sub-tropical Morrab Gardens are just across the road, with the Promenade only 200 yards away.

Penzance is well situated for touring Land's End and the Lizard Peninsulas and of course, nearby St Michael Mount. There are regular trips to the Isles of Scilly from the harbour or by air from the local heliport or by plane from Land's End aerodrome. For those guests liking the arts, there is the famous Minack Theatre at Porthcurno, and museums and art galleries within walking distance.

If you are walking the coastal path, we offer a good stop-over or longer break, we have facilities to dry boots and clothing, and if you are not sure which paths to walk we can suggest some of the better ones and how to get there and back.
