The vision of new horizons and image must evolve through partnership. The District has the highest pass rate in vocational courses within the county (90%) and a huge 12.5% above the average for England. Already employers are using the District’s educational facilities to help to improve the skills of their workforce. In addition the District boasts a higher than county average of adults holding a degree qualification, underlying the ‘study culture’ and academic ability of the potential workforce in Penwith.

Businesses are assisted and encouraged to apply improved management techniques, to assist with the development and recruitment of staff and to assist students in obtaining meaningful employment.
